Therefore leading pole dancing to being a great way to gain some upper body strength as well and leg muscle, and let’s not talk about core strengthening. Whether you’re a fan of strip clubs or pole dancing there has to be some sort of admiration behind their skills.
Not only is pole dancing classes great for exercise but it’s also great to be able to bring what you’ve learned home to show your man! Remember we talked about different wants to spice things up in, There’s a meeting in my Bedroom.
The first time I tried pole dancing was with a two friends from college. We decided to have a girls weekend and signed up for a pole dancing class. It was just the instructor and ourselves in the class so it felt very comfortable and private. We were all (and still are) rookies and it was fun to watch each of us try to complete several routines. We had light refreshments, wine, and overall a great time. We left that night feeling a little more confident and sexy about ourselves.
This past Summer my sister surprised me with a pole dancing class as part of my bachelorette party before I got married. Let’s just say, she knows her sister well.
My closest girls each grabbed their poles anxiously as we waiting for the instructors queue. As the instructor began to show us her easiest moves, we stared in amazement wondering just how we were going to execute those same moves as effortlessly as she did. After a few practice rounds we began to see a “little” progress. Believe me, it would take a lot more classes to be able to swing on those poles the way professionals do. But our goal was to have fun doing something that we don’t typically do on an everyday basis, to burned calories, and to get our sexy back; and we accomplished all of the above.
Besides, it was so much fun to watch my mom and aunts doing their twirls around the pole. And what’s a bachelorette party if you don’t do anything a little risque’?
So what do you say? Are you willing to “Drop it like it’s HOT” anytime soon?
